Nicaragua construction shows sluggish growth

Nicaragua's construction sector grew 2.1 percent year-on-year up to June this year, the country's central bank said.

The number is far below the 29 percent growth rate registered in the same period last year.

The sector also lost 2,300 formal jobs in the first half of the year, the bank said.
