Nicaragua earns $360 million for tourism as visit number one million is hailed

Nicaragua’s tourism industry increased its earnings this year by 9.6 percent, said the tourism minister, Mario Salinas.
The official said that income from tourism will reach $360 million this year, making it one of the economy’s leading sources of earnings.
Salinas said that the country has achieved its target of attracting one million tourists for the first time this year.
