Nicaragua expects free-zone record of $1.75 billion exports
Exports by companies based in Nicaragua’s free zones rose by 44.1 percent year-on-year in the first four months of the year.
The National Free Zones Commission forecasts $1.35 billion in textile and garment exports alone by the end of 2011.
The total amount of exports from the nation’s free zones is expected to reach a record $1.75 billion.
