Nicaragua Eyes Closer Ties with Iran

Nicaragua has dispatched a high-ranking economic delegation to Iran to weigh plans for the expansion of trade ties with the Islamic Republic.

The Nicaraguan economic delegation, led by the Minister of Finance, Iván Acosta, held a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif in Tehran on Saturday, IFP reports.
