Nicaragua is the Central American country that benefitted the most from the Cafta free trade accord with the United States.
Nicaragua recorded a $1.09 billion trade surplus between 2005 and last year.
The US ambassador highlighted Nicaragua’s achievement as he marked the fifth anniversary of the treaty.
