Nicaragua heads for new record in new car sales

Sales of new cars are likely to set a record in Nicaragua after three years of a slow recovery, according to the distributors' association.

On the basis of a moderate scenario, the association foresees sales of 12,000 units this year, but it could be as much as 12,500.

The forecasts are backed up by the import figures, which are higher than those of recent years.
