Nicaragua hosts Recom 12.5 megawatt solar plant

Greece-based module maker Recom announced it has provided its panels for a 12.5 megawatt solar plant in Nicaragua. The facility, located in Puerto Sandino, León Province, was recently commissioned. The installation is able to generate approximately 18.18 GWh per year, Recom said.
The company supplied 46,000 270 W monocrystalline modules. Construction on the facility was completed in May, after five months of work.
