Nicaragua is the big Cafta winner, say experts

Ten years on from the beginning of Cafta, the US ambassador to Managua and several local experts, said that Nicaragua is the region’s big winner in the trade pact.

Ambassador Laura Dogu said that over the last decade, Nicaraguan exports to the US have risen by 170 percent, frokm $1.2 billion to $3.2 billion.
