Nicaragua joins the energy revolution

Nicaragua will have its first natural gas plant based in an accord between the power distributors DisNorte and DisSur on one hand and US company New Fortress on the other.

The 25-year accord includes the construction of the 200-megawatt plant at Puerto Sandino, some 60 kilometers 60 kilometers from the capital, Managua, Prensa Latina reports in Spanish.
