Nicaragua keeps meat and milk sales to Venezuela

Nicaragua is to maintain its exports of meat and milk to Venezuela for the rest of the year, on the same conditions as those that began in 2007.

Nicaragua will continue to export 36,000 metric tons of cattle and 24,000 tons of milk annually, under the agreements entered into by the presidents of both nations.

The livestock sector has been calling for new agreements between Nicaragua and Venezuela when the existing deals expire in July.
