Nicaragua lags in Global Resilience Index

Nicaragua is at number 124 of a total of 130 countries in the Global Resilience Index, by U.S. insurance company FM Global.

The index measures aspects that affect foreign investor performance, such as vulnerability to disasters, corruption and infrastructure, among others.

Costa Rica is at the top spot in the region, at number 38 in the index, followed by Panama at number 80, Guatemala at 86 and Honduras at 120.
