Nicaragua on song for $1.9 billion in exports this year, officials say

Nicaragua has clocked up $1.15 billion in exports this year from January through July.
During that period, the volume of exports grew by 25 percent compared with a year earlier, while the value rose by 32 percent.
On the basis of these figures, authorities estimate that exports will close the year to $1.9 billion, up from $1.45 billion in 2009- Original
