Nicaragua receives half a million tourists

During the first five months of the year, a little more than 526,400 tourists visited Nicaragua.

The figure represents 8.5 percent more than int he same period last year, according to the Nicaraguan Tourism Institute.

Tourists spent $107 million in Nicaragua during the first three months of the year, compared to $101 million in the same period last year, said the Central Bank.
