Nicaragua receives more cruise ships

The number of cruise ships to Nicaragua has grown 33 percent in the first two months of the 2014-2015 season, according to Carelli Tours.

The Nicaraguan cruise sector has grown 48 percent since 2007, when it received 21,780 visitors.

Last year, the ports of San Juan del Sur and Corinto received 32,254 cruise tourists, according to data from the country's tourism authority, Intur.
