Nicaragua’s business leaders not worried about Ortega. They expect to achieve consensus with president on new legislation

Contrary to what was the case several years ago, Nicaragua’s business leaders are not concerned about the re-election of Daniel Ortega as president.

The private sector says it expects to have a continued “fluid relationship” with the government.

Mario Amador, a business leader, said that the private sector aims to achieve a consensus with the government on new legislation.
