Nicaragua's Chinandega region lures investment

The Northwestern Nicaraguan region of Chinandega is increasingly attracting investment.

The area has boosted its production of sugar, peanuts, sorghum and sesame, as well as production in its shrimp farms, oil plants, and the Yasaki automobile component factory.

The growth has attracted investments from mall developers, which in turn has helped attract franchises and real estate developers.
