The value of Nicaragua’s coffee exports rose by 39.3 percent in the first 11 months of the 2010-2011 harvest compared with the same period a year earlier.
Sales between October 2010 and August 2011 came to $430.5 million, while they netted $308.9 million a year earlier. However, the volume of exports dropped by 8.1 percent in volume terms over the same period.
