Nicaragua's exports grow 8.6 percent in February

Nicaragua's exports grew 8.6 percent in February this year, compared to the same month in 2013, according to the export authority Cetrex.

However, exports to the U.S. and Venezuela, Nicaragua's main trading partners, dropped.

Exports to Venezuela went from $77.2 million in February 2012, down to $60 million in the same month last year, while exports to the U.S. dropped 0.17 percent.
