Nicaragua's shrimp sales to France soar

Nicaragua's shrimp export to France grew 92 percent from January to November this year, compared with the same period in 2013, according to the country's exports authority, Cetrex.

The figure represents sales worth $18.3 million, while the figure for 2013 was $9.5 million.

France's demand for shrimp and lobster is growing and represents a golden opportunity for Nicaragua, said French ambassador to Managua, Antoine Joly.
