ExpoAPEN, which begins late next month, is a major shop window for Nicaragua’s producers and exporters as they meet up with foreign buyers, mainly in the food industry.
APEN, the Nicaraguan exporters’ group, says that the expo began in 1998, with sales of $346,000. Last year’s sales came to $42.5 million.
