Nicaragua seeks $160 million investment in textiles

Nicaragua is seeking $160 million to build a synthetic textiles manufacturing base to help double exports to $2 billion in five years.

The nation is currently in talks with three to four foreign textile firms to encourage them to bankroll its embryonic high-tech textile base.
