The Nicaraguan government has suggested development of pork production and the pork industry in order to expand in international markets.
The decision comes after the government assumed management of the Rivas Pig Farm, led by a Taiwanese mission.
"The great task is to increase production to expand into international markets with healthy pork products," said Ariel Bucardo, head of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.
