Nicaragua seen growing 4.2 percent this year

Nicaragua's economy will grow 4.2 percent this year, the Nicaraguan economic and social development foundation, Funides, said.

The figure is lower than last year's 4.6 percent growth, but higher than the initial forecast for the year of 4.1 percent.

Manufacturing, trade and tourism have helped the country's economy, Funides director Juan Sebastián Chamorro said.
