Nicaragua sees 4 percent growth in foreign tourism

Some 607,000 international tourists visited Nicaragua from January to June this year, the Nicaraguan tourism authority said.

The number represents a 4.4 percent growth compared to the same period in 2012.

Sixty percent of the tourists who visit Nicaragua are from other Central American countries, particularly Honduras.
