Nicaragua sees drop in sales to the United States

Nicaragua's sales to the United States, its largest trade partner, dropped in the first eight months of the year.

The Nicaraguan central bank estimates the country sent $96 million less worth of goods to the United States in the period.

Up to August this year, Nicaragua exported goods worth $437 million, compared to the $533 million in the same period last year.
