Wednesday, January 2, 2013

Nicaragua set a record in exports last year, generating $2.74 billion, according to the country's export authority, known as Cetrex.

The number shows an 18 percent growth compared to the exports from 2011, boosted mainly by the increase in the international prices of products such as gold, tobacco and cheese.
