Nicaragua shuts the door on Uber to avoid conflicts with cabs

The Nicaraguan government has finally ruled that Uber will not be allowed to operate in the country. The reason is that the authorities want to avoid conflicts with taxi drivers.

Meanwhile, the tourism authorities are calling for a “pause for reflection” in the case of Airbnb, the so-called Uber of the hospitality industry.
