Nicaragua to increase free-zone employment by 115,000 new jobs this year

Nicaragua's free zones expect to create 115,000 jobs this year, according to the nation's investment chief, Álvaro Baltodano.

The jobs will be made possible by the arrival of new investors and by increases in companies already operating in Nicaragua.

Baltodano said that this year investment in free zones will top $100 million.
