Nicaragua to invest $25 million in three airports

Nicaragua’s government has authorized a $25 million investment in the rehabilitation and construction of three airports for tourism.
The plan includes the construction of an airport with a runway of 1,500 meters on the island of Ometepe.
The terminal is expected to cost $7 million and will be ready early next year. Costa Rican airlines have already shown interest in launching flights.
