Nicaragua to launch airline this summer with links to Caracas, Havana and Mexico

Startup airline Nica Air plans to begin operations in Nicaragua in either June or July with routes to Mexico City, Havana and Caracas.

The company aims to build on early success to expand its destinations to the United States, the Caribbean and other routes in Central America and South America.

Nica Air was funded by investors from Nicaragua and Mexico.
