Nicaragua to launch major new housing program
Nicaragua will begin in the coming days a $39 million comprehensive housing improvement program, which in four years will directly benefit about 70,000 inhabitants, the government reported.
The plan will be supported by contributions from international financial institutions and the cooperation of countries such as Spain.
Under the guidance of the Nicaraguan Institute for Urban and Rural Housing, the project will provide decent housing to 14,000 families.
