Nicaragua to negotiate new accord with IMF

Nicaragua is to start talks towards a new macroeconomic accord with the International Monetary Fund in October this year.

The information was confirmed by the Presidential economic adviser, Bayardo Arce, who said the accord would be valid until 2016.

The Fund's new Nicaragua mission head, Przmek Gajdeczka, will arrive to the country Sunday this week for talks with several sector leaders.
