Nicaragua turns on the light with $75.9 million in loans

Nicaragua’s parliament authorized the government to contract a total of $75.9 million in loans for sustainable electrification and renewable energy, as well as a technical program.
The three loans are to come from the Inter-American Development Bank, the Central American Bank for Economic Integration and the Korean Eximbank.
The loan from the Interamerican Bank is for $30.5 million for a program of sustainable electrification.
