Nicaragua year of broadband internet heralded by financial boost

This will be the year of internet broadband in Nicaragua, backed by millions of dollars in multilateral financial institutions.

At present, some 93 percent of internet use in the country is confined to social media, movies and videos. But now the aim is to made broadband a major tool for the country’s growing economy.
