Nicaraguan business group to meet US Commerce

A group of Nicaraguan business leaders has scheduled a meeting later this month with a highly placed official in the US Department of Commerce to discuss ways to improve trade and communication between the two countries.

Nicaraguan businessman César Zamora announced that a group of Nicaraguan business leaders will meet in late October with Walter Bastian, US deputy assistant secretary for the western hemisphere of the Department of Commerce.

“It is indispensable that we thaw and advance the trade dialogue between our two countries,” Zamora said.
