Nicaraguan businesses seek trade accord with Venezuela amid Chávez health fears

Business leaders in Nicaragua want Daniel Ortega’s government to negotiate a free trade agreement with Venezuela. An agreements would provide stability to bilateral trade relations, beyond current governments, they say.
The president of Nicaragua's Chamber of Industry conceded that there are concerns about the negative effect that the health of Venezuela’s President Hugo Chávez could have a negative impact on bilateral trade relations.
