Nicaraguan construction attracts Taiwanese investors

Nicaragua's construction boom has attracted the attention of Taiwanese investors.

A group of business leaders from Taiwan will travel to Nicaragua in November to seek projects, according to Economic Counsellor at the Taiwanese Embassy in Managua, Anita Huang.

From 2007 to 2012, some 40,000 homes have been built, of which 7,000 were financed by the private sector, according to official data.
