Nicaraguan textile exports to grow 8 percent

Textile exports form Nicaragua's free trade zone are expected to grow 8 percent this year.

The figure represents $1.5 billion in sales compared to last year, according to the Nicaraguan association of textiles and apparel.

The volume of apparel exports from Nicaragua's free trade zones has increased due to a recovery in the international economy, the association said.
