Nike and Adidas apparel to be made in Nicaragua

Augusta Manufacturing, which set up a plant in Nicaragua in November, will produce Adidas sports clothing with an initial workforce of 500, rising to 1,000 next year.

Meanwhile, New Holland Apparel is to begin a new line of Nike sportswear. Both companies are US-based.

Contrary to previous reports, Nike and Adidas sportswear will also continued to be made in Honduras.
