Number portability faces new delay to end of year for consumers in Panama

Number portability will not be introduced in Panama in June, as the Public Services Authority had earlier promised.

Instead it will be the end of the year before Panamanians can change numbers whatever the company they use.

Following two failed tenders, a contract for $3 million is to be assigned by one of six companies in the frame.
