Odata to invest $100 million in Colombian data centers

Continuing the rise of the data centre industry in South America, Brazilian colocation company Odata has announced plans to invest $100 million in the construction of three data centres in Colombia.

The build will be the company’s first outside Brazil and will, on a first phase, amount to 23,680 square feet. Construction works are expected to begin in the second half of this year 2017 and the facility is scheduled to open in the first half of next year.
