Friday, November 2, 2018

Brazilian construction company Odebrecht looks like securing another big contract in Panama, where its portfolio includes the extension of the Tocumen airport and Lines 1 and 2 of the Metro.

This time, an Odebrecht consortium that includes Spain's FCC is the leader in points in the tender for a branch line of Line 2 of the Metro on the basis of the best technical proposal and lowest price. In second place came a consortium of Spain's OHL and Portugal's Mota-Engil. Spain's Acciona came third.

The reference cost of the project is $94.8 million.
