Odebrecht seeks protection but owes millions

Odebrecht, the Brazilian construction giant which still owes millions of dollars in reparations to Panama is seeking bankruptcy protection.

Meanwhile dozens of Panamanians, including the sons of Ricardo Martinelli. face criminal investigations linked to some $102 million in bribes by Odebrecht which won billions of dollars in contracts from successive Panama governments, Newsroom Panama reports.
