Thursday, May 12, 2011
The productivity of workers in Panama has risen sharply in recent years.
In 2004, the value of the average worker’s output was measured at $12,496. Last year it rose to $19,608, according to official statistics.
The question now is whether wages have risen in proportion to the increase in productivity.
