Pacific Alliance leaders sign accord in Colombia

The Presidents of the Pacific Alliance member countries, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru, gathered last week in the Colombian city of Cartagena.

During the meeting, the leaders signed a duty exemption accord that will eliminate 92 percent of tariffs in trade between the member countries.

The remaining 8 percent will be gradually eliminated over the following 17 years.
