Palmerola airport project in Honduras faces more delay

The project to make Palmerola the fifth commercial airport in Honduras has been delayed.

The project has been under review for three years under the administration of Porfirio Lobo, the president. However, the parties concerned have not yet been able to launch construction.

Lobo had said the first phase of the project would be ready by November 2013. Byt now, however, it is not clear whether he will even be able to place the foundation stone by January of 2014 when he is due to leave office.
