Panama and Portugal to strengthen ties

Panama and Portugal aimed to strengthen their bilateral ties after a visit by the Panamanian leader Ricardo Martinelli.

In Portugal, Martinelli met with his counterpart Aníbal Cavaco Silva, to discuss opportunities for both countries.

Among the topics were a maritime cooperation agreement and a double taxation treaty.
