Panama and United States still have to date for implementation of free trade accord

Tuesday, December 27, 2011

Officials from Panama and the United States are working on the details of their free trade accord, but no date has yet been set for implementation.

"The aim is to make sure that all the legislation is in place by the time of implementation," said the deputy trade minister of Panama, Diana Salazar.

Both sides are verifying that everything is in order with the trade accord's documentation, she added.
