Panama approves free trade accord with Mexico

The Panamanian government approved a law project that ratifies the Mexico-Panama free trade agreement.

With the accord, Panama has now fulfilled all requirements to become a full member of the Pacific Alliance trade bloc.

The government also approved steps for the Tocumen International Airport to become a Free Trade Zone.
