Panama banks report $1.85 billion profits

Panama's international banking center reported $124 billion in assets last year, a 2.9 percent increase on 2018.

Meanwhile, the net profits of the banks came to $1.85 billion, only a sliver of an increase of $1.835 billion over the previous year, La Prensa reports in Spanish.
